Usage/Ingredients
How to use:- Adults aged 18 years or over: Two sprays into each nostril every morning and evening.
- Beconase Allergy Nasal Spray is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
- Do not use more than eight sprays in a day.
- Use only in the nose.
- Shake gently before use.
Warnings
Consult your doctor before taking Beconase Allergy Nasal Spray if you:
- are pregnant or trying to become pregnant
- are breastfeeding
- are currently taking another steroid
- suffering from nosebleeds
- have recently had surgery or injury to your nose
Side Effects
Side effects of Beconase Allergy Nasal Spray:
The spray does not cause drowsiness and does not affect your ability to drive or use machinery. You can still drink alcohol while you are using Beconase. Like all medicines, Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray can have side effects. If you experience any of the following while you are taking Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray, tell your doctor as soon as possible. Common side effects that have been reported in between 1 in 10 and 1 in 100 people taking Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray include: a dry or painful nose or throat, an unpleasant taste or smell, nose bleeds, allergic reactions including skin rashes or redness, itching or wheals like nettle rash or hives.
