Aptamil Profutura 1 First Infant Milk Starter Pack From Birth, now developed with Aptamil's unique process, is suitable as the sole source of nutrition from birth to 6 months and as part of a weaning diet from 6 months to 1 year. It contains DHA (Omega-3 LCPs as required by legislation for all infant formula.

Usage/Instructions

Preparing your baby's feed

 

Please follow these instructions carefully. Failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill.

  1. Wash hands.
  2. Shake bottle well.
  3. Unscrew cap, add sterilised teat.
  4. Serve at room temperature or warmed if required.
  5. To warm the feed, stand sealed bottle in hot water. Remember to test the temperature on your wrist before feeding the baby.

Warnings

Check cap before opening. Do not use if seal is broken. Before use: check best before date. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding. Never leave your baby alone during feeding. For hygiene reasons, discard unfinished milk in the feeding bottle immediately after use, and always after 1 hour. Bottles and teats for single use only. Breastfeeding is best for babies. Aptamil First Infant Milk should only be used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist, or other professional responsible for maternal and child care. When bottle feeding do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Ask your healthcare professional or dentist for advice. Make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned after the last feed at night. Store in a cool, dry place. Bottles should remain in the box or in a dark place to protect the contents from light.
