Cold sores are uncomfortable blisters that occur on or around the lips. They are usually caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1)
Bonjela Cold Sore Cream works by forming a protective layer over the cold sore, before stopping the HSV-1 virus in its tracks. The invisible formula means obvious cold sores, such as those on the outside of the lip, can be discreetly and effectively treated.
Usage/Instructions

- Always read the label
- Wash your hands before and after use
- Squeeze the tube and place a small amount of cream on your fingertip
- Gently apply a thin layer of the cream to the cold sore
- Repeat at least 4 times a day until the cold sore vanishes, usually within 4-5 days
- If symptoms persist for longer than 6 days or you notice any unexpected reactions, please stop use and contact your doctor or pharmacy.
