Product description

This intimate moisturiser offers relief from vaginal dryness for up to 3 days after each application. It helps maintain the natural pH of the vagina. It works from within to soothe vaginal dryness and provide longer lasting moisture. By delivering continuous moisture to the skin cells the moisturiser encourages increased blood flow from the vagina leading to increased moisture, relief from symptoms and even a return of some natural secretions (discharge).

A technique called bioadhesion ensures that each application of Feminesse Moisturiser works to rapidly relief vaginal dryness for 3 days at a time. Feminesse Moisturiser contains no hormones so can be used safely alongside other treatments such as HRT and topical oestrogen.

What causes vaginal dryness?

Vaginal dryness is normally caused by a fall in hormone (oestrogen) levels. The most common reason for these changing hormone levels is the menopause. Breast feeding mothers and those who have had a hysterectomy can also be affected by changing hormone levels leading to vaginal dryness. Some treatments and medications such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, antidepressants and allergy medications can also cause dryness as a side effect. What's more, some hygiene products such as feminine sprays, harsh soaps, and some washing powders have been known to make symptoms worse.

Usage/Instructions

Directions for the use of Feminess Moisturiser 6's:

It's recommended that you use Feminesse Moisturiser every 3 days; preferably in the morning, after your bath or shower.

1. Grip the applicator firmly by the thick end. Shake the applicator to allow the contents to reach the tip of the nozzle.
2. Twist off the tab and discard.
3. While sitting, standing or lying on your back with your knees bent, gently insert the open end of the applicator into the vagina as deeply as it will go comfortably.
4. Squeeze the thick end of the applicator firmly to deposit the gel. Remove the applicator and discard.
